Taskinpasa Mosque, located in the centre of the village of Damsa in the vicinity of the town of Urgup, dates back to the Period of Caraman. Its portal, which now looks ugly due to the fact that it has been painted white, is decorated with borders embellished with geometrical motifs. The mosque, built using cut stone, has three naves in the direction of Mecca and eleven barrel vaults. The arches are on the pillars with marble capitals. The mosque has a flat roof covered with earth.
Its mihrab, now on display at the ankara Ethnography Museum, is outstanding being the only example made of wood surviving. The two-lined border around the mihrab is decorated with arabesque desings and verses of the Koran.
